Another lovely kit from Steel City Scraps

Rachel from Steel City Scraps has another lovely kit that she has just released at Digital Candy. It's called A Breath of Fresh Air and it's perfect for all those spring or easter pictures that you need to scrap.

I haven't uploaded any of my Easter pics yet, but I did find a cute picture of Shannon that I was able to use. Here is my first layout using this wonderful kit:

Another Mega kit from Digital Candy

The wonderful designers over at Digital Candy have just released their newest mega kit for April. It is called Miracles Happen.


The most wonderful thing about this kit is not the kit itself (which is absolutely wonderful), but the fact that all proceeds of this kit (minus paypal fees) will be donated to the March of Dimes. How great is that?

I was lucky enough to get to play around with both Christie Lemmon's and Steel City Scraps' portions before they were released. Here are the layouts that I did:

Scrapbooking and stuff...

Well late February, I accepted a postion on the creative team for Rachel at Steel City Scraps and Christie at Christie Lemmon Designs. I haven't done much in the digital scrapbooking world but I'm having a ton of fun. These two ladies have awesome kits, available exclusively at Digital Candy (http://www.digitalcandy.us/shoppe/home.php) and have been known to give out freebies on their blogs.

One of the reasons to be on a creative team is that you get to use the designers' kits for free. My husband is happy on that count since I don't have to buy the kits that I want anymore. Or at least it cuts down on the kits that I buy online. Hi! First post...

Well I've been following a list of blogs for about a year now and it seemed like a good idea to have my own. However I've never been very good at actually writing a journal, even when I was a kid, but I've always had really good intentions. So we'll just see how this goes.
